Silvia S. - Cascade Division Prayers

Good Evening friends,

Psalm 125:1 says:

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”

As we continue to navigate this new normal, we want to encourage you all to continue to share your blessings with us. Lat week,

Lt. Nathan Perry from Newport Corps, sent this picture above and said:

“Here is a fun picture of us meeting with our corps council about the exciting things in the works for the Newport Corps!

God is opening some amazing doors for us on the coast! More to be updated later once things are more in the works 😊

We also received this notes from Captain Kristy Church from Roseburg Corps:

Since COVID-19 began, we started giving out school supplies and birthday gifts (Christmas leftovers) and this one mom called asking for her power bill assistance. I saw that she had 4 kids and one just had her birthday two days before. I asked the mom if she was able to get her some birthday gifts and she said no. Since I was helping her with the power and she had to come in to pick up the voucher, I put together the bag with gifts. She was very thankful and didn’t know how to express her thankfulness. We were able to bring a smile to her and her daughter with few toys… God is good”.

God is so good to all of us and we want to thank Him for all the blessings. Let’s pray:

“Father God, thank you so much for who you are. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Tonight we want to lift up The Newport and Roseburg Corps. Father, we pray for Lt’s Nathan and Corrin Perry and their ministry. We are so thankful that they were able to find new ways to meet their board and we also pray for the opening of new doors in their ministry and community. We trust in you and we know that you are in control over everything. We are also thankful for Captain’s Brent and Kristy church we are so blessed by the possibility of providing birthdays gifts to their community and many other things. We pray for wisdom, guidance and strength. In Jesus name,

Amen.
