Julius M. - prayer

"If, over the past two weeks, I've seemed a little distant or simply not present then it's for a good reason. But don't worry it's not about you. I'm not well and I need to take care of myself right now. I'm finally getting answers to why I'm in excruciating pain and now working on getting better. So instead of worrying about where I've been please pray for me. Thank you in advance."

Pray for Saipan (Marianas islands)

"Super Typhoon Yutu, tied for the strongest storm anywhere in the world in 2018, slammed into the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands on Thursday, with weather agencies predicting extreme destruction.

The storm, with sustained winds of 180 mph, was set to create “devastating damage” in the Pacific islands east of the Philippines, the National Weather Service in Guam said. Much of the island of Saipan and all of Tinian were enveloped within the eye of the gigantic cyclone as residents hunkered down in the early hours of the morning."

Jay M. - Family peace

"We need some serious prayers friends.  My daughters ex has  for the third time taken her to court fighting over  visitation of Landon.  We have spent more than $15,000 so far and we need another $3000 by November 12 for the court appointed guardian ad litem.  Pray that God will change his heart because he has not agreed to anything offered.  He only wants custody which is not what this is about the judge has told him this but he only wants custody, it is about a visitation plan.  This is a battle both emotionally and spiritually it is taking a toll on our family.  It is so hard to keep up the fight we need people to come and hold us up."

Marie R. - sister and brother in law (baby PTG)

Pray for Florida

Tropical Storm Michael continues to march through the Southeast, still packing powerful winds and flood-causing rains. Michael made landfall in the Florida Panhandle on Wednesday as a “potentially catastrophic” Category 4 hurricane — the strongest on record to hit the area — and charged north through Georgia and into the Carolinas, wreaking havoc and causing emergencies. In the storm’s wake lay crushed and flooded buildings, shattered lives and at least six deaths, a number that officials worry could rise.

Joanna W. - Todd and Debbie’s (daughter PTG)

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST:  We just received word that Todd and Debbie’s daughter, Emily, was killed in a car accident.  Todd has been in the Mid-Atlantic District for tour and is now flying back to Georgia, where they have been staying during their home assignment.  We do not have any further details at the moment.  Please be praying for the family.

UPDATE:  Todd was able to fly home this morning. Sully and Natalie will be flying home from Cambodia on Sunday evening. Then, the family will all fly to Arkansas on Monday and the rest is yet to be written.

Todd & Debbie are grateful for your prayers. They are so very sad, but holding on to the hand of our loving Jesus. Their minds are running through all the beautiful memories of their dear Emily.  She was 21. They are asking Jesus to fill their emptiness as they grieve the loss of their precious daughter and asking him to remind us of all the truths of his Word.

Pray for the many decisions, logistics and strength to walk through these days ahead.

Presently they are planning to have Emily's funeral service in Toccoa, GA towards the end of next week.
