Cadet Sara R. - Farewell

Praise the Lord for Cadet Sara for coming to Hilo and helping our church. She has made numerous connections with our people, and left a wonderful impression on many. Our young people and young adults especially created wonderful lasting memories with her. To God be the Glory for her and for her ministry! May the Lord bless her as she finishes off her last year at Officer Training at Crestmont. Mahalo Cadet and much blessings!

A good friend and former team member is desperately sick right now and according her doctor her only hope is a miracle. Fortunately we serve a God who is capable of miracles so I'm calling upon you to join me in prayer for God to do a mighty work in the body of JoAnn D. Please like this post if you are willing to pray and visit Joann's page and encourage her with a loving message. Kona and Kroc Church Ministries - Praise the Lord

A huge shout out to some of our newest Lt's in the HIPAC Division. Lt's Santiago at the Kona Corps have already started 2 new ministries in Kona. One is a homeless feeding program at the pier on Thursday nights where they not only provide a nourishing meal to the homeless but also a short service where a couple of attendees have gotten saved. They also started a youth outreach to one of the housing projects in the Kona area. Great job Santiago's! Lt's Lee have also been here just a few short weeks and already have a Korean ministry started at the Kroc Center. They have been observed going up to everyone one who is Korean and taking the time to speak with them. The Lee's have a passion to win people to Christ and plant a new corps.

Sam L. - family moving to CO

"The LeMar family is back on the move, we have been appointed as the Corps Officers of the Aurora Colorado corps. We are thrilled to be going back to the best division in the west. We look forward to the ministry opportunities that lie ahead. We leave the Long Beach ARC in a better place spiritually, financially and physically. God has allowed a lot of work to be done here in the last few years while there is a lot more to do, we also know that it will be in good hands with Major Carl Earp at the helm. Will you pray for our family in this time of transition, pray for the ARC and the Aurora corps?"

Van Y- transition

"Today we start a new chapter in our lives. We are being moved from the wonderful Victor Valley Corps to the Stockton Adult Rehabilitation Center in Stockton California. Please keep us in your prayers through this transition."

Mark A. - friend's passing (Family)

"I lost my very best friend and Brother today ! Rest In Peace My Brother  ! My Heart felt condolences to the Maldonado Family. I loved George and his family, my heart is sick and will be for a long time. George was loved by all his friends and he helped many many people. He had such a big heart for his family and friends. He loved his family, I loved to watch him interact with his  Grandsons, Georgie and Gabriel at the shop. His smile and his love for them would just radiate around them. We had many conversations about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we prayed many times together. Heaven gained another Angel today. Continued prayers for family and friends and for justice for those responsible."

Elaine M. - Relationships

As you begin your day will you pray with me?

My heart aches at the number of unique things that keep occurring and the challenges trying to assist.  People are hurting.

My heart aches at those who continue to show unkindness.  Please try love.  Even if you don't care for someone, the Bible is clear, love everyone.  There are many hurting people out there.  Don't hurt them more.

I pray as I prepare to leave on furlough that the love of Christ can take over this community and yours.  That may it be today that joy is found in everyone's hearts and the fruit of the spirit dumps out to others.

It has been one thing after another since right before commissioning.  I keep praying.  I keep loving.  I'm too optimistic to give up but I will be honest, I'm feeling pretty beat up.

Join me in prayer.  Join me in kindness.  Join me in love.

Think about the way you treat people.  It makes a difference.

Matt 22:37-39
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'  38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
