Last Wednesday I met Ann. She was volunteering for food distribution at Gresham.
She is a hard worker and I was so excited to see how engaged and happy she was. After sometime talking, she shared with me how awesome it is to help people in need and be part of this opportunity through the Salvation Army.
After that, I spoke to Captain Michael Stack about volunteers and how we can use them in our ministry. God is faithful and he sends good helpers to us. And all of this is to glorify His name.
‘Some trust in chariots and horses but we trust in the name of the Lord” Psalm 20:7
Dear Lord we are thankful for all opportunities that we have to serve people and to exalt your holy name. What a privilege to have people working alongside to serve our community.
Father God lead us to engage them in our ministry to make a difference in our community.
Lord give us wisdom and strategy to bring new people to worship You with us.
We are so blessed, and we want to adore you in the beauty of your holiness.
