My dad is still in the hsp instead of sending him to a Rehab now social services and the doctors think a nursing home ( not the words they use ) is the best choice.  He has dementia and delirium.  I will probably never see him again as I am in Las Vegas and not Portland and because of covid and omicron only my sister Debbie Mehrens can go in.  But thanks to our phones I can face time Dad.  He usually know who I am and likes to tell me he named me after Teresa Brewer a movie star from his early days.  So say a little prayer for him that he passes on easily and knowing we love him so much

Prayers please. My father in law is in the hospital with Covid. Please pray for his health, the wisdom of his medical team (heros), and for protection for those who he has been in contact with. He is not a young man; let us pray God is not ready for him yet. Prayer has power. Peace and love to all.

Please keep Josie in everyone’s prayers. We did a home test today cause she spiked a fever last night of 102. It came out positive for COVID. I have been pumping her full of vitamins and Tylenol all day and her temp is now hovering around 99.2. 

She does have iPad if you have her on messenger I am sure she would answer at some point. She is bored in her room away from us. Yes, we are feeding her and she is drinking lots of fluids….

Hi Facebook family and happy new year. I’ve been a little shy with posting on Facebook lately but wanted to update you on a pretty major matter in the Rasmussen4 household… in the second half of 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in my lower intestine. I went through chemo, radiation, and just yesterday got home from the hospital after a 6 hour surgery to remove the cancer last Tuesday. I will undergo more chemo in February and then another surgery around April or May, and then we should be through this valley of shadows the Lord has walked with my family and me through. 

So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your prayers and love during this time. God has shown Himself so loving, present and faithful through you. While there have been moments of fear and frustration, God’s peace and provision have overcome anything the enemy has tried to throw at us. God Is Still Good!

I’ll update again a little later in the year as this leg of the journey comes to an end and we can celebrate the healing He’s orchestrated!

Please know that you are loved by me, and I cherish the friendship God has given us. Near or far, close friends or just acquaintances, YOU MATTER TO ME and I am thankful for YOU!

Shelly goes to work everyday and has a beautiful attitude!  Please pray for her and ask God to put his loving arms around her and her family!
