Dara Update - May 16:
What a difference a week makes!
- Kidney numbers continue to lower. Down to 4.1 compared to 4.6 yesterday. Still working towards the optimum 1.0
- IV fluids no longer needed
- Dialysis port in neck was removed today
- She is at 95% oxygen capacity
- Hospitalization no longer needed, so she will be transferred to a rehab facility as early as Monday, to continue regaining her strength and for them to monitor her kidney and other health numbers.
- Removal of kidney stones will take place at a point in the future when they feel she is healthy enough to undergo the surgeries. There is no rush since she has the stents in to allow urine flow.
We are so thankful for the prayers and expressions of love and concern from friends, family, and people we have never met. Thank you, thank you, thank you, dear ones.
