Recovery for Matthew Luhn

The following prayer request was sent to me by our NW DYS.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Friends:
I'm writing to ask you to pray for the nephew of Collette Webster (she and her husband Bob are TYS's in Chicago.)
Read part of her email to me:
The past Saturday my nephew, Matthew Luhn, was mugged while on his school campus, Illinois Wesleyan. He was walking back to his dorm early in the morning and two guys came up behind him and started beating him with pipe wrenches. They broke both of his arms, some fingers, he has a gash in his head requiring 8 staples and multiple bruises on his head and face. My brother, Paul Luhn (his dad) has been the corps sergeant major at Glen Eyrie for many years so some in your territory might know him. Anyway, they are taking Matthew to an orthopaedic surgeon this morning to see what needs to be done, but right now he has casts on both arms. They did not take his wallet or cell phone so it was not an act of robbery. We keep thinking that the only reason they didn't kill him was that God intervened and sent an angel or something to spook the guys and they ran away. After they ran, Matthew somehow got himself back to his dorm and found his RA. The RA then called the ambulance and the police. Matthew is a wonderful young man who lives out his Christian faith each day. He is a music major at school and is first chair in all of the bands playing trombone. The police and the school are doing all that they can to figure this out.
Please keep Matthew and the family in your prayers.
Thanks!

Assistant Territorial Youth Secretary
