First Grandson

Please pray for Betty's daughter and first grandson. "She is due to have her first child (my first grandson) on or about August 14th. My prayers are that the baby
arrive safely and healthy and that my daughter is ok." May the Lord look upon Betty's daughter during her pregnancy, and the safe arrival of her grandson. May He go before this child and prepare his steps.

Corps Council

Please lift up our Corps Council (church leaders meeting) coming this Sunday after church service. May the Lord guide and give us wisdom as we make some changes to our leadership team. May the Lord bless our time together! Above all, may He get all the glory in what we talk about!

Ministry Focus

Please lift up all the leaders and employees of the The Salvation Army Aurora Corps. May the Lord strengthen and fill each one with His mighty presence! May the Lord go before this Corps (His Church)and prepare the way for the vision that He has given its Officers/Pastors. May the Lord put a hedge of protection over this church (yes Lord, protect them from the scheme of the evil one)! May God continue to get all the blessings and honor through His people in Aurora!

I met Peggy today at Safeway, and she expressed the need for prayer. Please lift her and her family up in your prayers. May the Lord strengthen and fill her with His Spirit! May our Lord intervene in her particular situation and bring healing and peace! May she continually be empowered to focus on our Lord Jesus amidst this season of trial!

SAY Camp

Please lift up all the kids who will be attending the Salvation Army Youth Camp (SAY camp) on Wednesday (7/29). May they encounter the Lord Jesus in a powerful way at this camp. May the Lord give all the leaders continual passion and energy to lead with a purpose, as they touch and change lives!

Senior Camp

Please lift up the Senior Camp, which will be held at Camp High Peak. Four from the Denver Red Shield will be attending: Lois B., Bernie M., Charlesetta W., and Genevieve S. May the Lord bless all who attend. May the Lord give all the leaders the wisdom and guidance in all the details of this camp. Safe travel and God's Speed!

Karl R

Karl R., an employee of Divisional Headquarters and stationed in Billings Montana recently informed us of the loss of his Great-Grandmother. Karl was very close to this family member and is feeling the loss. Please keep Karl, his wife Misty and their family in prayer. May the Lord comfort Karl and family during this difficult time of loss.

Jeffrey and Patricia

Praise the Lord for Jeffrey and Patricia's Adult Rehabilitation Center graduation that took place last night. What an accomplishment to complete the 6 months Recovery program. May the Lord go before them and prepare the way for what He is about to do in their lives. May they be blessed in all that they do!

Divisonal Youth Department

Please pray for our headquarters youth department. May the Lord intervene in everything that is going on there. May He surround each of the employees with His mighty arms of protection and love! Please continue to lift up the Youth Department's new leaders: Captains Raymond and Jennifer Erickson-Kings. May the Lord give them wisdom and guidance!

Construction at the Red Shield

Please continue to lift up the people who are working hard to renovate the Denver Red Shield Center. May the Lord put a hedge of protection around each of them as they work in safety. May the Lord also bless all the planning that is taking place. May everything that happens be in the Lord's Will!

Mountain Climbing

Please keep 5 of our Kiwanis Club members as they climb a mountain to raise funds for an organization that helps children. May the Lord keep them safe, and may He bless them tremendously!

Karen Herdman

Please keep Karen (Tang Soo Do) Msster Instructor in your prayers as she travels to Houston for a Martial Arts event. May the Lord bless her in her time there, and may He use her in a powerful way (word or deed) to point others to Christ.

Boxing & Basketball Teams

Please lift up our Boxing and Basketball Teams as they travel for their respective tournaments. Coach Everette and his team are headed for Mesquite NV. Coach Will and his Basketball team will be heading to Las Vegas NV. Please pray for a safe travel and much blessings on their trip.

U.S. Soldier

Dear Friends: We have received tha attached urgent request for prayer for the young soldier who is being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Would you forward this to your Corps? We know that it cannot arrive in time for next Sunday's Corps Bulletins, but, if every Corps stops now to take a moment and pray, then God will hear the prayer of thousands of people who believe in prayer!

We need to team up and pray for Bowe Bergdahl, the 23 year old soldier being held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan. I believe without a miracle, this boy is as good as dead. He's scared and telling the cameras what they want him to say Lets really pray for him...not just when you get this email but daily until he's released.

Please lift up our Business Administor, Chris, in your prayers, as he is in Estonia with his church team. May the Lord keep the team safe everywhere they go, and during their return flight.

Red Shield VBS

The Red Shield VBS, which was led by Cherie Harris, ended yesterday. Please continue to pray that the kids that came were touched and will continue to be touched by the Lord. May the Lord use this experience and teachings to sprout in the kid's lives new love for Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord for Cherie for a Job Well Done!

Red Shield Construction

Praise the Lord that the construction is on the way! Please pray for safety for all the workers and all those who come into that building. May the Lord keep everyone safe! Please pray for a smooth construction/renovation during these upcoming months. May this Center and its people be a light into this community!

Music Camp

Please continue to pray for our Music Camp, which started yesterday. This Camp will be for a week....Saturday next week will be the final concert. Please pray that the Lord will bless all the kids that are there. May this time be such an eyeopener, both in building music skills, and getting to know the Lord Jesus. May God give all the Leaders and Teachers wisdom to teach and grace to connect with these kids.
