Paula C Jackson-Kinen and Derek Nash rip!!!!!"

Derek was only 29 years old. Gone too soon. We are planning a viewing in June so those who would like to come show their support and grieve can do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will update more info as we get it.
This is a hard time right now for the family Please understand it might take a minute for all messages and calls to be taken and returned. Thank you for your love.
When the date is set there will be a event created and anyone that needs to have it sent to them via text please message Kayla.

Franklin Graham

“Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying, ‘O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame’...” (Daniel 9:3-7)

Franklin G. - Greg's Son

Former Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is loved and respected here in the Carolinas. He just retired in January, and his family is facing a real battle. His eight-year-old son, TJ, was born with a congenital heart defect that has required several surgeries including three open heart procedures and a pacemaker. Today Greg announced that TJ’s heart was "reaching its end" and it "ultimately could lead to a transplant." I know they would appreciate your prayers for TJ and their entire family.

Mark K. - Health Update

Friends, Family and Prayer Warriors:

This morning was a Radiation Consultation in which my “mask” was fitted, and I had a CT scan.

I would ask that you add the following ladies to your prayer list along with Dr. Warr, Dr. Underhill and Nurse Patsy as they will be conducting my radiation treatments 5 days a week:

Radiation Therapists: Ashleigh, Sarah, Kendyl & Danielle and Nurse Brittany.

I assured these ladies that they will be prayed for by name.

Thank you all for your support and prayer, it means everything to know I’m not fighting alone.

Monica K. - Mark' Health

An update from Mark:

Friends, Family and Prayer Warriors:

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet the team that will be caring for me as I travel through this dark valley and I’m asking that when you pray for me, you would also pray for them by name. Pray for wisdom and guidance as it relates to their specialty.

Dr. Thomas Warr will be overseeing chemotherapy.
Dr. Kelly Underhill will be overseeing radiation.
Nurse Patsy will be supporting them both.

There are a few more consultations that need to take place before treatment can begin, so I covet your prayers as preparations are made and treatment schedules are set.

Thank you all.

Mark

Good news! My brother was able to get out of Israel thus morning.

He is thankful for all of your prayers on his behalf and the behalf of his co-workers. He has asked for continued prayers for his co-workers because only 4 of them were able to get out today.

Thank you so much my family! God is Good!!!

Adina C. - Home

"Friends, would you pray for us to find our home this week?  Thank you!"

Franklin G. - Russian School Shooting

"Pray for the families of seven children and two adults who were killed today in a terrible school shooting in Russia. Twenty-one others, mostly children, were also injured. A suspect was captured on video, all dressed in black headed toward the school, and a 19-yr-old has been detained by law enforcement. Evil knows no borders, and neither does grief—whether it’s Russia or here at home. Our hearts break for these devastated parents, siblings, grandparents, and other loved ones. May they know the comfort of the Lord who is our “refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1)."

Pray for Israel / Palestinian Peace

From Franklin Graham:

"I have many friends who live in Israel, both Arab and Jew, so we are very concerned about the situation there. People have been killed, families are cowering in fear in bomb shelters, and they need our prayers. As we are commanded in the Scriptures, let us “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6)."

Monica K. - Husband Mark's Health

The King Family could use your prayers.

We got a call this afternoon to inform us Mark has throat cancer. Specifically, Squamous Cell Carcinoma or Tonsil Cancer.

The doctor assures us this is a very treatable cancer with one of the highest survivability rates. The first course of action is to attack it with radiation and chemotherapy. Surgery is an option if they don’t appear to be effective after three weeks.

In typical Mark fashion, he is more concerned with how this is going to affect the kids than he is about himself. He asks that you pray for them specifically.

He isn’t on social media these days so I will keep everyone updated as we have information to share.

Donnelle - Friend's Health

I have a very good friend in the hospital, please pray for her and her family.  We were all able to go up and spend some time with her this evening and two of her daughters are staying with her tonight.

Jason G. - Mom PTG

Many of you have already heard from my sister’s Facebook post, but for those who have not, our mother went into the presence of the Lord this morning. I struggle to put into words both the disbelief and heartache we are currently experiencing. Please keep my siblings and I in your prayers as we try to wrap our hearts and minds around what is happening. Please pray for her grandchildren, family members, and those who love our mom. .....

And too my Mom…. Though my heart breaks here, I take comfort in knowing that you are in no more pain and are celebrating your first Mother’s Day in the presence of God with all of those you have loved who went before you.  I love you forever and always

Larry J. - Friend's Health

Recently I had asked for prayers for a friend who had an accident at home and was not in good shape. Well it is time for an update. I am happy to say that he is alive, walking, talking and functioning almost normally (which is an improvement from where he was before the accident). He has had to re-learn a lot but he is well on the way to recovery. Thank you everyone for your prayers. They do work.

National Day of Prayer

Today we celebrate The National Day of Prayer.  This is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

2021 NATIONAL PRAYER FOR AMERICA

Lord, we look up and see the billions of stars

You created, and we praise You. We look

around and see the billions of people You

created in Your image; uniquely, fearfully,

wonderfully, and we thank You. Wrap us in Your

Spirit and unite us in Your family, Lord.

Thank You for loving us first. In Your love for

the whole world, You sent Your Son to save us.

Jesus, in You alone we have abundant and

everlasting life. Thank you for teaching and

leading us to love and live, fruitful, and faithful.

In Your life, death, resurrection, and ascension

You are our Lord, our love, our life, and our

liberty. You came to “bind up the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners.”

You have freed us from the penalty and shame of our sin;

free to live life as You designed and Your destiny for our Nation.

Spirit search us, convict us, as we repent for

our sin and the sins of America. Please cleanse,

fill, and send us. We rejoice, knowing that Your

forgiveness makes us acceptable and effective

vessels for Your love, life, and liberty in our

family, church, education, workplace, military,

government, art, entertainment, and media.

We pray that America will be united in love to

serve You with all our hearts, all our ways, and

all of our days. Unite us to pray, love; to live and

walk by the Spirit. Conform and transform us

as we pray and proclaim,

“Now the Lord is the Spirit,

and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

We pray this is the name of Jesus, Amen.

Today is not the day for me. I feel trapped and burdened even though I am not. It seems like the walls are closing in while yet in freedom. I don't want to do anything, I want to build and stick to a routine that isn't routine. I want to know how to all things I need to do and want to do while letting things take care of themselves. I feel both overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. O know that this too shall pass.
