I had to take Mark to ER yesterday afternoon for severe abdominal pain. They admitted him for a “hot and enlarged” gallbladder and jaundice. He had a procedure earlier today to remove a blockage to his liver and is scheduled to have his gallbladder removed in the morning. He is finally resting well. Prayers appreciated for his surgery in the morning.

Indonesia Earthquake- 62 dead

Los Angeles Times: 

A strong, shallow earthquake Monday toppled buildings and collapsed walls on Indonesia’s densely populated main island of Java, killing at least 62 people and injuring hundreds as residents rushed into the streets, some covered in blood and debris.

Emergency workers treated the injured on stretchers outside main hospitals, on terraces and in parking lots. Many included children, some of whom were given oxygen masks and IV lines and were being resuscitated.

“I fainted. It was very strong," Hasan, a construction worker being treated at the Cianjur Regional Hospital, said of the temblor. “I saw my friends running to escape from the building. But I was too late to get out and was hit by the wall.”

Residents, some crying with children in their arms, fled damaged homes after the magnitude 5.6 quake shook the Cianjur region in West Java province in the late afternoon, at a depth of 6.2 miles. It also caused panic in the greater Jakarta area, where high-rises swayed and some were evacuated .

Please pray for those families that have lose a loved ones (mostly young people.. teens and 20s) and the injured during a Halloween Festival in Korea. It happened when a massive crowd (100K) gathered in a narrow street (Itaewon Alley).

***URGENT PRAYER REQUEST***

Our 3-year-old granddaughter, Nora, who lives in Ketchikan with her folks Brian Qualls and my daughter, Shelby Hanauer Qualls became sick over the weekend.  It turns out she developed a virus that inflamed her lymph nodes which are near her intestines.  This caused a condition called Intussusception which is basically her large intestine telescoping in on itself.  She is in a great deal of pain and meds are only somewhat effective.  Surgery is needed.  There are no pediatric surgeons on their island, so she is being medevacked today to Seattle Childrens.  Please pray for her and her parents and the doctors and surgeons.

be with the Lord she was surrounded by her loving husband Ron Reddy, handsome son Brendan, and her beautiful daughter Kayla Reddy. No more pain, no more hurt she is now a beautiful Angel and is reunited with her eldest son Jordan and all our loved ones. It brings me peace and joy to know that she is in a better place. They always say it’s never good bye it’s see you later. I love you and miss you so much. Rest in Paradise! ♥️🙏🏼♥️
