Killings and Kidnaps.
Gunmen in the Afghan capital Kabul have attacked a guesthouse, killing a German woman and beheading an Afghan guard.

Daniel L. - unspoken

"To all my family and friends thank you for the outpouring of your love and concern for our situation. While I would like to share my heart with you I can not;  do to our agreement with our counselor to not talk about or disclose anything at this time. Thank you again and please keep us in your prayers."

Geola C. - dad's PTM

"My Dad passed away this morning at 9:50am at Hilo Medical Center.  He was in a lot of pain these past 2 days, the cancer spread throughout his whole body.  God in ALL His Grace and Mercy took my Dad home peacefully.  When I say home I mean with Jesus, because just the night before he said the sinners prayer again, asked Jesus to forgive him and made his peace. God is Good and instead of letting him suffer for a long time, the most painful lasted a day and a half!"

My father is still in the hospital, he has an infection in his bladder, kidneys, and they just found pneumonia in one of his lungs. They have him sedated, on a ventilator, with a feeding tube. We will be going in later this afternoon to talk with the nurses and get another update. We appreciate the prayers everyone has sent already and ask that you keep them coming."

Melanie O. - granddaughter's health

"Dear fam & friends... Please pray for our little granddaughter, Tahlia. She is 3 years old, and back in the hospital with her kidney infected again.  We thought she was healed of all of this mess that she has endured since she was 9 months old... but it has returned. She has two large kidney stones..and infection. Please pray for healing from the infection so the docs know what path to take to help her.  A praise is that Bethany is able to keep her specialist from here in the loop of what is going on. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as they all decide how best to help our little one. Thank you."

"Yes!! My life is in the hands of the Lord. Yes!! My life is in the hands of the Lord. In the I will always trust and never hesitate. Yes, yes!! My life is in the hands of the Lord. Yesterday I had a terrible fall that I took my wife to the emergency room at hospital in Visalia CA. Where I stayed 4 hours, thank God, there's no broken bones, but if the doctor finds that there is damage on the left shoulder where I had a significant surgery for several years now. The doctor ordered an MRI, and turn to draw attention with the doctor who cares for me. We had the frozen chickens to distribute to the community and after I've filled 5 Large Bricket, I began to smash it with your feet and throw in the dumpster, a considerable amount of the empty boxes. The boxes slipped, fell, hit my head on the wall of the building, my body fell horizontally on my shoulder surgery and I can't remember anymore,..... my wife has left the building to bring me water to drink and there found me down and treating me of Lift, but the pain wouldn't let me. Looks like the devil no longer knows more like attack us, and this attempt on our physical health. On this day, I proclaim victory!! Over the enemy that has already been destroyed by my Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers in this process, God bless you."

National Day of Prayer Proclamation

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, 2017

- - - - -

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

We come together on our National Day of Prayer as one Nation, under God, to show gratitude for our many blessings, to give thanks for His providence, and to ask for His continued wisdom, strength, and protection as we chart a course for the future.  We are united in prayer, each according to our own faith and tradition, and we believe that in America, people of all faiths, creeds, and religions must be free to exercise their natural right to worship according to their consciences.

We are also reminded and reaffirm that all human beings have the right, not only to pray and worship according to their consciences, but to practice their faith in their homes, schools, charities, and businesses    in private and in the public square    free from government coercion, discrimination, or persecution.  Religion is not merely an intellectual exercise, but also a practical one that demands action in the world.  Even the many prisoners around the world who are persecuted for their faith can pray privately in their cells.  But our Constitution demands more:  the freedom to practice one's faith publicly.

The religious liberty guaranteed by the Constitution is not a favor from the government, but a natural right bestowed by God.  Our Constitution and our laws that protect religious freedom merely recognize the right that all people have by virtue of their humanity.  As Thomas Jefferson wisely questioned:  "can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?"

In 1789, President George Washington proclaimed a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, calling upon Americans to "unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations."  In 1988, the Congress, by Public Law 100-307, called on the President to issue each year a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as a "National Day of Prayer."  On this National Day of Prayer, the right to pray freely and live according to one's faith is under threat around the world from coercive governments and terrorist organizations.  We therefore pray especially for the many people around the world who are persecuted for their beliefs and deprived of their fundamental liberty to live according to their conscience.  We pray for the triumph of freedom over oppression, and for God's love and mercy over evil.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim May 4, 2017, as a National Day of Prayer.  I invite the citizens of our Nation to pray, in accordance with their own faiths and consciences, in thanksgiving for the freedoms and blessings we have received, and for God's guidance and continued protection as we meet the challenges before us.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fourth day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand seventeen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-first.

DONALD J. TRUMP

Tiffany M. - Interview

"I NEED YOUR SUPPORT & PRAYERS TOMORROW around 9:30am PST.  I am going in for my D.O.T. medical exam and I know in my heart and the peace that I have, that I should pass with ease.  But prayer never hurts!

According to my doctor's I'm ready to get back to work FULL TIME in the trucking industry. They said there is NO reason why I shouldn't be allowed to drive professionally anymore.  I'm 200% healthier then I have been in the past 10yrs.

I'm ready to serve the Lord behind the wheel of a truck again.
"Trucking for Christ".  That's an actual organization out in our industry. I used to see those trailer chapel's at truck stops all the time.

So anyways, if you could just say a prayer for me at that time tomorrow morning or send positive thoughts my way, that would be really appreciated.  Thank you so much for your continued love and support.

May God Bless the rest of your week!"

Chris G. - God's favor

"Asking for prayer support as I have an important presentation and meeting in 20 minutes. Trusting the Lord in these matters and putting my best foot forward. Please join me!"
