Health Workers in China

Wuhan Doctors Exhausted From Treating Coronavirus Patients, Sleep On Hospital Floors & Benches

Many of you have heard of how hospitals in China are now experiencing severe overcrowding due to the growing number of patients infected with the deadly Wuhan virus.

As a result, doctors and nurses are forced to work non-stop. Some have even resorted to wearing diapers because they don’t have enough time to use the toilet!

These hardworking, dedicated professionals hardly take breaks as they spend every waking moment treating patients. So when they do find time to catch some rest, they take it any way they can get it.

Dave A. - Health

"My New Parkinson's Disease concern is my walking and balance

A balancing issue, or postural instability, is one of the primary motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) that usually emerges in the late stages of the disease. ... Postural instability is one of the four primary motor symptoms of PD, although not all patients with PD experience issues with balance.

This is just an update of what I have been trying to overcome. You have seen my bruised and battered body over the past few months.. I have fallen over more times in the last 6 months than i have in my 66 years on this "Global Warming" planet."

John C. - brother in law, Sam A. - Promoted to Glory

Today we mourn the loss of Uncle Sam as he was affectionally known. 32 plus years ago Sam made me get on my knees to ask for Lani’s hand in marriage. He wanted to make sure that my love for her was real and that I was willing to do whatever it took to provide for her. After Lani and I left Hawaii Sam looked after our kids to make sure that they were taken care of. Sam we love and will miss your generosity and love for us. Aloha.

LV SA - Edilberto PTG

Friends,

It is with heavy hearts to inform you that we mourn the loss of one of our beloved soldiers of the Las Vegas Citadel, Edilberto Habal.

He was promoted to Glory this morning January 23, 2020. Edilberto was a great man, and served the Lord with all of his heart, and with all of his soul. He gleamed rays of light out of him daily in His walk with Jesus, and today he is without doubt in His presence.

His family has asked that you keep them in prayer as they make arrangements and prepare for his Celebration Of Life over the next few days.

Aloha our beautiful 'ohana. It's with broken hearts 💔 we want to inform everyone that Tūtū's (Clara) health has declined. She got very sick and ended up in ICU this last night. She fought so hard since last Monday and we don't want her to struggle any longer and decided it's time to let her rest.

She is intubated once again but it will be removed tomorrow at 2:00pm.

Visiting hours at ICU opens at 8:30am and you are welcome to come and visit with her for a final time.

Mahalo again for holding Tūtū and her 'ohana so closely in your thoughts and prayers.

As Tutu would ALWAYS say....

Ann J. - Mother and Daughter

Say a prayer for this Indian LSU and her son. I just spent the whole day helping her move her belongings from her hotel room to storage. We placed her 4 year old son in a crisis nursery for 30 days and 30 nights. She is looking for shelter or a room to rent and a job now that she has secured a school for him starting next week. She provides for his needs over his. He is healthy and strong and she is skin and bones.
Hard day but nothing compared to the hard life she has had in the streets. Arranged marriage and then divorced. She has a degree in law and then a master's in computer science and became a senior programmer but life has been hard on her and homeless for the last two years. Trying to give her hope today. But deep inside I ache for her.
Hug your children tight. Thank God we have a hone tonight.

Puerto Rico Earthquake

Power is expected to be slowly restored to all homes in Puerto Rico over the coming days in the aftermath of a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that left many residents sleeping outside their homes and more than 2,000 others in shelters. The strongest and likely most damaging of hundreds of temblors that have struck the island since December 28 hit before dawn Tuesday. It left one man dead and caused dozens of homes and other structures to crumble. With three major power plants expected to return to service between Thursday and Saturday, Puerto Rico Electric Energy Authority CEO Jose Ortiz said the entire US territory -- with about 3 million residents -- could have power by the weekend. A fourth plant could begin operating by Sunday, he said. For More Info: https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/09/us/puerto-rico-earthquake-thursday/index.html

Harry B. - Wife Barbara's Health

"The official story is that Barbara  fell the Monday  before  Christmas while she and Tom Selleck were trying out for the Dancing With the Star show (or while taking the recycling out) and broke  the  large  bone  in  her  ankle. Today's second appointment with the orthopedic  surgeon results  in  3 to 6 more weeks  in a non weight  bearing  boot then  another visit. It does  not  appear, at this  time,  surgery  is  necessary.  She  is  mostly  free  of pain.

We are so thankful she did not hit her head, break her shoulder or hip.
Blessings"
