Prayer & Praise:
Dear friends,
Tonight we will be sharing praises from Debbi Leighton,
“Here in Klamath Falls, we are beginning to see the extended effects of business closures. The request for utilities and rent assistance have increased as we are waiting for everyone to be called back to work. Two families that we assisted with utilities have never been here for any kind of assistance; they were very thankful that we were able to help them. They were overwhelmed when we offered them food boxes as well. Even though they did not come to the office on the same day, we received the same response. Tears of joy and words of thanks. We also offered to pray for them, which was warmly received.
I start out my day by praying for the people that will be coming through our doors. God knows their needs and concerns before I do, and I continue to pray for them as they leave. We can pay their rent, utilities, and provide food; but prayer costs us nothing and brings smiles and comfort when offered.
I am reminded of II Corinthians 9:8:
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.””
Let’s pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for so much for the beautiful testimony from the services in Klamath Falls. We praise you for the opportunities we have in this community and to be able to offer support to so many people. Father be with Debi, give her strength, wisdom and joy to continue to do your will. We also pray for the community and the people who are being affected by this pandemic. In Jesus name we pray.
