Rahmat Rostamipour (pictured) knew his family's decision to leave Islam and follow Jesus was a risk in Iran. But for them, it was a risk worth taking.
On the day after Easter, that risk became reality. The morning of April
18 at 8 am, a dozen officers in plain clothes showed up at their home in Anzali and took the family's Bibles, phones, ID cards, books and even their children's school tablets.
And then they arrested Rahmat and drove him away in a convoy of four cars,
Rahmat's wife was also targeted for arrest but when the raid caused a panic attack in their14-year-old daughter, his wife was left back.
Pray with us for Rahmat and this traumatized family—Iran shows no sign of stopping the arrests and imprisonments of Christians.
