Prayer warriors and friends won’t you join us in our petitions as we lift our son Steve in prayer.
Lord we pray that as Steve goes through tough times that You will be his defender. I pray that he will learn to look to You to be his help. The enemy’s strength is nothing in light of Your great power. We pray that he will learn to cry out to You in his trouble so that You will deliver him out of his distresses. No matter what happens, we pray Steve will ultimately be able to say “This was the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in my eyes”. Help Steve to understand that he can lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone O Lord make him dwell in safety. We ask you give him comfort and draw near to his heart this night and the days ahead.
In Christ alone we pray and give thanks. Amen

The Lord is Steve’s rock and his fortress and his deliverer, God is Steve’s strength in whom he can trust; Steve’s shield and his salvation; his stronghold.
