Darren N. - Division / Health

Friends,

It was such a blessing to be with you all on Saturday.  It was an amazing day to be together (finally!) and what a joy it was to see people at camp enjoying time with each other.  It was also a wonderful opportunity to get to know all the new officers to the division and welcome them to the great Golden State Division.

I write this morning though to ask for your prayers for some of our officers.  First, I am asking for continued prayers for Daisy and Manuel G.  Daisy has been in hospital for 6 days now due to covid-19 pneumonia and on Saturday, Manuel was also take to the hospital due to breathing difficulties and has been kept there.  A corps member has stayed at the quarters to be with Jacob and David.  Please continue to pray for this family who really need healing and a touch from God.

I also ask for your prayers for Joe and Judy Z.  As some of you are aware, Joe broke his wrist in the soccer game at camp.  He was taken to the emergency room and got back home later that night with his arm heavily bandaged in a sling. Judy wasn’t able to be with us at camp because a few days earlier she had fallen at home and sprained her ankle and is on crutches.  So please also pray for healing for this family as well today.

Finally, I would ask you to remember Charleen M. who with Matt and their kids have just arrived to our division.  Charleen has been dealing recently with significant health issues and she too was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon with internal pain.  She also needs our prayers for healing and relief from pain.

We are one division, one body, one family.  When one part hurts, we all hurt.  Please present these requests to the Lord today.

Father, will lift our brothers and sisters to you now who are hurting and in pain.  We seek your healing power over them and entrust them to your care.  Be with them today and grant them your peace.  Bless their families too.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you and have a great day.

Darren
