Captain Raymond D. - Cascade Division Prayers

Greetings Friends,

Psalm 46:10-11 tells us, “Hey says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’ The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

Let’s pray:

Lord we love you. Thank you for your presence in our lives. In the busyness of the day, equip us to hear you. Let us remember to still hearts and minds to hear what it is you are telling us, to know the path we should take that would honor you, and give to us the courage and humility to walk that road so that we may love you and love our neighbors.

Today we lift up the Caldwell Corps and the leadership of Majors Robyn and Stephanie Bridgeo. Thank you for the call you have placed on their lives, and for the good service they provide to the people of their community. Keep them safe, keep them rested, and keep them focused on you.

We also pray for Camp Kuratli and Hayden Lewis who leads the charge there as the camp director. He and his crew work hard at keeping the camp a beautiful place to be ready at any moment to serve. We thank you for their commitment to your work. Keep them healthy, keep them strong, and keep them focused on you as well.

We think of the good work going on at the Coos Bay Corps, led by Envoys Dennis and Tawnya Stumpf. We ask you to bless the work they do there and provide them with the resources and opportunity to continue doing so, that you might be honored. Keep them committed. Keep them able. Keep them rested. Thank you for them.

Finally, we remember DHQ led by Major Nancy Dihle, our Divisional Commander. Bless the efforts and support that is provided to the division from there. Thank you for the officers, directors, and employees whose ministries have taken them there. Give to them your wisdom, the knowledge they need, the courage to follow your leading, and the humility to be good servant leaders. Keep them safe, healthy, and rested.

Lord, you are our God and our King. Our faith is in you. Let us be still, and know that you are God.

Amen.
