CALL TO PRAYER!

The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for June 16 2011

During the year 2011, Join in the 24/7 PRAYER, “The Day and Night Cry for Justice” for the people
who, at this very moment, are facing danger and persecution because they are your followers. Pray that
God will pour out His Grace and Strength, Protection and Peace on them so that whatever happens, they
will be confident and secure in your love.”

1. Pray for the families who have lost homes and property in The Wallowa Fires in Arizona and for those
recovering from the floods and tornados. Pray for a speedy recovery and clean-up effort. Pray for
Salvation Army disaster relief teams, government and voluntary agency volunteers who are helping in
this time of historic flooding..

2. Pray for the leaders of our Nation; for the President, the Congress. And pray for the safety of our military
men and women serving in Afghanistan and Iraq and for their families; give them divine protection and guidance
in their personal lives and in their service for America.

3. Pray for General Shaw Clifton (retd) in the Promotion to Glory of his dear wife, Commissioner Helen Clifton.

4. Pray for General Linda Bond, and each International and National Leader and for our Western Territorial
leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, Lt Colonels
Ron and Pam Strickland, Lt. Colonels David and Sharron Hudson, Lt. Colonel Judy Smith, the THQ Staff,
Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, your Corps Officers, the Cadets, and our Employees.

5. Pray for the new Lieutenants of the Ambassadors of Holiness Session who are on their way to their very
first Appointments! May God use them to be a powerful blessing and may the ministry and work of the
Salvation Army grow, as we give glory and honor to God!

6. Pray for healing for; Jackie Morton; Major Tedd Lowcock diagnosed with endocardites requiring a six
week treatment; Yvonne Meadows; Matt; Peter Daab; Catalina; Roland Perry’s wife, Valerie, receiving
Chemo treatments; Major Kevin & Tammy Ray’s daughter in law’s father; Jody Wildeboer’s uncle;

Major Elvia Roman recovering from surgery; Captain Ronnie Davis’s brother and his nephew’s little girl;
Austin Sullivan; Major Deanna Sholin’s mother, Mrs. Gail Wiggins; Priscilla’s mother; Jane Brown; for
Mary Kyle; for Dave Marquez; Gail Stewart; Jim Horgen , poor health;

7. Pray for; Susan Spencer; Sydney Smith, 12 years old in an auto accident; Captain Matt Madsen; for
Captain Phyllis Pease, recovering from surgery; Esther’s granddaughter Aaliyah, in hospital being treated
for an infection; Patty; Laura’s son, Chad, liver transplant rejection; for James Shull; for Sheryl Callahan’s
mother; Gail V. for heart problems; David Robinson, healing .

8. Pray for healing for 2 year old Max, the grandson of Rosemarie and Brian Abernethy, postponed lung
surgery; for Major Ruth Sundin’s brother, David Hopkins and for his wife, Diane, who is not well.; for
Chris W. for healing from a bad fall, for Major Ron Wildman asks for prayer for his brother in Idaho; for
Elona Hinton; Captain Kory Acosta; Pray for Lt. Eric Rudd, spinal surgery; Joan McKinnon and her family.

Officers Transitions

Please continue to pray for all the Western Territory Salvation Army Officers who will be moving this month. May the Lord continue to guide each one as they prepare for this transition. May the Lord prepare the way that their next assignment/appointment will be a rewarding one (both personally, and especially, spiritually). In all, may the Lord be glorified in everything!

A GLOBAL CALL TO 24/7 PRAYER “A Day and Night Cry for Justice” during the year 2011.
“Dear Lord, we bring before you in prayer, people who, at this very moment, are facing danger and persecution because they are your followers. We ask that you will pour out your grace and strength on them so that whatever happens, they will be confident and secure in your love.”
1.Pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones and possessions in the Mississipp River floods. Pray for the thousands of homes, and businesses threatened by floods. Pray for a speedy recovery and clean-up efforts and for God’s comfort. Pray for our Salvation Army disaster relief crews and volunteers and for resources to cover losses..

2.Pray for the leaders of our Nation; for the President, the Congress; and for our military men and women and their families; give them divine protection and guidance in their personal lives and in their service for America.

3.Pray for God’s blessing and complete healing of General Eva Burrows.

4.Pray for General Linda Bond, and each International and National Leader and for our Western Territorial leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, Lt Colonels Ron and Pam Strickland, Lt. May God give His comfort and care for each family member.
