Heather M. - Update

"For those that didn’t see the update: He’s back! He did well. No surprises and everything went as planned. He will be heavily sedated and on a breathing tube for the next couple days.  They also inserted a feeding tube.  The plan right now is to get him fed and keep him comfortable.  Pray for healing for Brady. A few long term complications come from scar tissue during healing and from acid reflux."

"Please keep Glory in your prayers. She had to go to emergency today while on her school choir trip in Anaheim and found out she has gallstones. She’ll miss her original flight back home but will be on a later flight this evening."

"When he was born, he had breathing issues. They did an X-ray and his esophagus and stomach are not connected. He basically can’t swallow or eat. There is nowhere for it to go. He is having surgery today to correct the connection. He has EA/TEF Type C."

Katrina B. - Surgery and Recovery

Could use some prayers.  Once again I am having surgery on my eye.  They are inserting a tube so fluid will drain .  This time around I am feeling very apprehensive and anxious.  Maybe because this time after the surgery I will not be able to see anything,as I can only see out of that eye and mitt will be patched until Saturday morning.  Please pray for calmness and peace in the days that follow.  I know that God is in control and will be my rock.  Still humaness gets in the way.  Thanks all.  Blessings on you all.

"In case you hadn't heard yet, my husband, Steve, is in the hospital.  Long story short, he has some internal bleeding which will hopefully be dealt with tomorrow.  
This was discovered after he collapsed in our home in the middle of the night. 
He's in the best place he can be right now and will have further testing tomorrow morning. 
Until then, I sit here and wait ... just watch him and wait. 
Thank goodness for Kaitlyn's cousins who are taking care of her and friends who've called me here at the hospital to check in. 
Please pray for healing."

"Still smiling even though he's having a serious asthma attack! Spent Monday night in the ER and yesterday at home doing treatments. Called the doctor today because I still didn't think he had improved. Mommy instincts were correct! Doctor upped his prednisone and treatments every 2 hours. No school again tomorrow. Doctor is trying to avoid admitting him to the hospital. Keep him in your prayers."

"Hey friends, although it’s been mostly under wraps for the past 8 months, I share this with you now for two reasons. One, so that you can lift this petition up to God in my behalf. And two, to show my love and appreciation for my sister.

Tomorrow morning, I will receive my second kidney transplant from one of my amazing sisters. This is part of a life long adventure I’ve had with Renal disease. It hasn’t been easy, or fun, but I can assure you that God has proven to be with me every step of the way.

I ask for your prayers for the doctors tending to us over the next few weeks and also for the healing process. Thanks in advance."

"The short story of Dave's emergency surgery.  Monday morn. about 2 he woke up with severe pain in his r side. We went to the ER. They tested and examined and decided he needed to go to Deaconess. There they did the same, didn't know what was wrong, meanwhile the pain was getting worse. Finally, (God's Miracle) another Dr. took over, consulted with the CT Scan specialist, decided he had a blockage or tumor in GI tract and it must be taken care of Immediately before it burst! He had him in surgery in about 1/2 an hr. After two hrs. he came out, tired, hurting, BUT the problem found and fixed! Praise GOD !!! No burst colon, no cancer, no tumor and he didn't even have to cut away a part of the colon. PTL ! So we are Very, Very Thankful to God. Dave Bowler does need a lot of prayer, but is recovering. :) :)  PRAISE GOD !"
