Pray for your Pastors/Christian Mentors

Taken from a social media Post.
‐----------------------------------------------------------------

Being a pastor is classified in the four most difficult professions.

This because a pastor should be:
•Preacher
•Example
.Parent
•Spouse
•Advisor
•Speaker
•Planner
•Minister
•Visionary
•Director
•Mentor
•Friend
•Daycare
•Reconciliation maker
•Marriage counselor
•Youth Counselor
• Leader trainer
•Teacher of the Bible
• Intercessor ,etc.
• Church Bearer
• Taxi driver
• Cleaning staff
• Leader of Praise and worship
• A/V operators
• Landscapers
• Handyman/ or women
• The 1st to arrive and the last to leave

Every Pastor constantly faces criticism like:
● I don't like the sermon
• is that because it’s to close to home?
● The service is very long
• It is cutting into my worldly plans!
● Prayers are long
• I asked for my prayer not the rest!
● Pastor's children are not an example.
• you should be perfect, so shall they!

One of the most difficult things in a pastor's life is knowing that the people they love betray them constantly.

Pastor is often the loneliest person in the congregation.

You can see a pastor being surrounded by people, but very rarely people who are interested in their problems, needs or even in their lives. And let's not say the demands congregations put on Pastors' children.

For this I would like to give you some advice: If you have a pastor or have as friends children of Pastors take care of them, protect them, pray for them always,
connect to their vision, support them, support them, but most of all, love them.

📖 Jeremiah 3:15 says:
“And I will give you shepherds according to mine heart, which shall bear you with knowledge and understanding. ”

So take care of them because "they watch over your souls as those who should pay attention"
Hebrews 13: 17

Let's honor the lives of all those men and women of God who have sacrificed so much including some of their family's needs to attend God's call.

Value the time a pastor dedicates to you, you don't know how much their own family would value that time.

Pray for us, extend grace, talk to us and not about us, love as we love, we are also saved by Grace, the same that you are! God’s grace, love and a relationship are what we all need in a world as todays!

Debbie B. - Health

This was a big week in my battle with cancer. On Thursday I saw the surgeon PA and she decided to remove the drain even though the fluid levels were slightly higher than she wanted. (I was 4 1/2 weeks with it.) I am to keep the armpit padded for 5 days to keep it from swelling. Will have a follow up on Wednesday.
Then I met with the radiation doctor and team.
Today I got to shower for the first time since the last surgery. What a wonderful feeling to be clean.
I am in the preventative maintenance phase of this battle.
Thanks for your prayers and support. Get those check ups and mammograms .

Marianne V. - Health

Tomorrow is a big day for my health. I’m going to do my second year check up cancer test. I’m little bit nervous, but I’m trusting God no matter the result. So far He is been faithful and He is showing me his love through my staff, they knew I was feeling nervous this couple days, and all my staff ( we are missing some on the picture) wrote in big card words of encouragement and love!  I mean…….🥹💕 I’m so grateful that God put me here in Bryan College Station, I can feel every day the love and the care from our staff and not only for me but for my entire family!                                                        The only thing that is in my heart and mind right now is: “I’m in HIS hand whatever the future holds, I’m in HIS hand “
