Dr. Augustinos Samaan Egyptian Coptic Christian scholar, YouTuber with over 100,000 subscribers is rotting in an Egyptian prison for the “crime” of teaching Christianity and comparing it to Islam.
This man was slammed with five years of hard labor under Egypt’s blasphemy law (Article 98(f)) simply for making educational videos.
That’s not justice.
That’s state-enforced religious tyranny.
While locked up, fellow inmates have burned his legs with cigarettes until they swelled, denied him food, water, hygiene, and the right to worship, urinated on him, and left him infested with lice.
His mother died of grief right after the sentence.
