Moving to Del Oro
I am pleased to announce that effective Monday, March 8, Mr. Fulton Hawk will be joining the Del Oro program department as our youth program specialist.
Fulton comes to our division after having served as member of the territory's youth department team. He brings countless skills in youth programming, graphic design and public speaking, but most of all, a fervent love for the Lord and an intense passion for getting young people excited about Jesus and serving Him through the mission of The Salvation Army.
And yes...that adorable little girl Isabella and his fabulous wife Chrissy will be coming along too. I would ask that you pray for Fulton and his family as they transition to the area. I know when they arrive you will do all you can to make them feel a welcome part of our wonderful Del Oro division!

The Jackson Family
Please lift up the Jackson family in your prayers. Since the funeral of Mrs. Jackson (Red Shield F.U.T.U.R.E. Director), there has been a lot of media attention revolving around the funeral parlor misplacing the body. May the Lord strengthen the Jackson family during this time of loss, and dealing with the media. May the Lord comfort and give them His Peace.

From Maj. Jeannie B
Here's an additional prayer request: Majors Marquez from THQ and others were to meet for lunch today. The Marquez' were given the wrong address and went into a restaurant (the wrong one?!). They were in uniform, the gal who met them has an Officer brother in New York. He has liver cancer-the Dr's went in to remove it but it was inoperable. The sister had just found out, and asked for prayer.
From Capt. Dave Allen
I was just informed (about 10:15PM, Friday January 29) that Virginia Russell was Promoted to Glory. Many people knew this wonderful lady. Our Lord is now taking care of her. Please pray for her sister, Ruth, Daughter, Joyce Ann, her two sons Steve and Allan and Family and friends.
