As many of you know, our daughter Jaylyn was involved in a devastating car accident on Monday, August 4th 2025, as she was driving to work. We have since learned that she likely suffered a medical emergency before crashing her car. From what we’ve been told, when California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived on scene, life-saving measures were not initiated until Oakland Fire Department arrived and worked to revive her.
Because of these heartbreaking circumstances, Jaylyn suffered an anoxic brain injury. She currently remains in a vegetative state as her brain continues to heal. Every day is uncertain, but we continue to hold on to faith, hope, and the power of prayer as we stand beside her.
Now, we are preparing for the next big step — bringing Jaylyn home.
While this is something we have prayed for, it also comes with significant challenges. Our home must be renovated to safely accommodate her medical needs, equipment, and full-time care. We are doing everything we can to prepare a safe, loving space where she can continue her recovery surrounded by family support.
We are asking for help through our GoFundMe to assist with necessary home renovations and adjustments to our home to make it accessible.
If you feel led to give or share our fundraiser, we are beyond grateful. Most of all, please continue praying for healing, restoration, and strength for our girl.
Thank you for standing with our family during this unimaginable season. ❤️
