To my Army family,
My mom is so humbled that my “employer and church” honor her for being my mom. She is amazed that being a Silverstar mom, DHQ sends her cards on her birthday and remembers her on some holidays too. I am hoping some more people can continue to bless my mom and stepdad during this painful time. On Saturday, November 7th, my stepbrother, Micah drowned while on vacation in a small village in southern Mexico. He was 38. My parents are devastated, not to mention the difficulty of navigating how to get his body back to San Diego and all the COVID precautions.
If people want to send my parents some cards I know they would appreciate it.
