Pray for Nigerian Christians

#News Islamic militias continue their rampage in Nigeria, k*lling more Christians in a village while they were on watch protecting the people who were sleeping.  

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo of the Church of Christ in Nations stood in the mass grave the next day crying as he buried the latest victims while declaring that the government has abandoned them. The men had volunteered to stand watch.

Dachomo sat among the bodies and said he felt like being the next one buried with them.  

“We have prayed but the government has turned its back against us.”  

He accused authorities of inventing policies that left communities exposed while military forces failed to stop the night raids.

The Shurum attack fits a pattern of nighttime assaults on Christian communities by “Radical Islamic Fulani Militias.”  

According to Open Doors World Watch  

🔴3,490 Christians have been killed by Islamic groups in Nigeria so far this year - 72% of the global total of 4,849. 

🔴There are about 30,000 armed Islamic Fulani militants operating in groups of 10 to 1,000, k*llng the largest number of Christians compared with Boko Haram, ISWAP, or criminal gangs. (all Islamic) 

Dachomo has personally conducted dozens of mass burials.  

#Africa 

In July 2026 he buried nine members of his own extended family k*lled in Kum community, Riyom LGA. 

In June he buried 22 in Kawel, Bokkos LGA.  

In September he buried three church members in Gassa after an attack the night before he publicly thanked Trump for raising the issue at the UN.  

#Christians 

He has received de*th threats, told followers not to pay ransom if he is taken, and traveled to Israel earlier this month to press the case. 

Nigerian authorities and some mainstream outlets describe the violence as resource conflict between herders and farmers.  

However, videos showing government officials leading stadiums in chants of k*ll the Christians, k*ll the White man seem to contradict their public statements.  

The mainstream media has been silent on the genocide of Christians at the hands of Islamic t*rrorists, and is focusing instead on the Hamas t*rrorists and their sympathizers who are being k*lled in Gaza in retaliation for the t*rrorist attack they launched on Oct. 7th.  

How many more Christians will be m*rdered by Islamic t*rrorist before the mainstream media decides to accurately report the carnage caused by Islamic t*rrorists, and start advocating for the people of Africa rather than the terrorists in Palestine?
