Below please find this weeks "Call to Prayer"
As you take a few moments to read the attached prayer lists for the Territory, be reminded that the National Day of Prayer is two weeks from today. Please keep this great nation in your thoughts and prayers. Plan to spend some time in prayer on Thursday, May 3rd. We need to be praying for our leaders both locally and nationally.
Change is happening all around us, but we need to rely on the one who never changes - Jesus!

Prayer honors God as sovereign & moves Him to action... compassion for the world redeemed by Christ will move us, the church, to pray.
PRAYER
Lord, I kneel in prayer to honor You, as Your servant, recognizing You are sovereign - please use me to touch the lost & hurting today.

CALL TO PRAYER!
The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for April 19, 2012
General Linda Bond invites Salvationists, around the world to join each Thursday in world-wide Prayer to re-affirm that; “We are One Army, with One Mission, and One Message.”
Pray for a deeper spiritual life, for financial resources for our world-wide mission, for a renewed passion to bring people to Christ, and for courage and compassion to stand for and serve the marginalized. Seek the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in your life, by becoming energized and equipped for the ministry of the 21st century!
1.Pray for our Salvation Army Leaders:
General Linda Bond, International and National Leaders, our Western Territorial Leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels David and Sharron Hudson, Lt. Colonels Douglas and Diane O’Brien, Lt. Colonel Judy Smith, Lt. Colonels Vic and Joan Doughty, THQ Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC officers and your Corps Officers! May God give them vision, grace and joy!

3.Pray for healing for Orange County Fire Department Battalion Chief Don Forsyth, who just had Melanoma surgery; for Noah Van Kuren, 14 year old from Victor, NY who was hit in the head by a hocky stick while playing hockey. Had a concussion and continues to have headaches and nausea. Testing in Pittsburg. Pray doctors will find the problem and that God will heal the injury, pray for the family who are very worried; for NAB Board member Jim Schneider’s prayer request for Bernie Amasiu and Roger Sullenberger, “both fighting for their lives”; Pray for Major Ruth Looker’s aunt, Major Pearl Reid, very frail at 87, who fell and re-broke her arm; Pray for Major Shirley Goode, healing of recent hand and wrist surgery; Major Mike Dickenson, for Ann Parker; for Toni Parker; Major Lisa Van Cleef; Hazel Morgan, a lung biopsy; for Sonny Maxwell; for Evelyn Wright, healing from a stroke.
