"For my friends that pray - please pray for my dad (Henry). He is having surgery in a few hours to remove a bowel blockage. He also has Alzheimer's so explaining to him why he had surgery and that he needs to relax and heal will be challenging for my mom who already has a difficult time with his disease. Please pray for the best possible out come, and please pray for my mom Sue for peace and comfort through his procedure and strength during his recovery. Thank you!"

Gresham Corps - Budget

Please pray for our Corps and its budget. Please pray for guidance and wisdom as we try to balance our budget at the end of this month.  Pray also for the upcoming fundraiser events and everyone involved.  We praise our Lord for always providing for our Corps and its ministries.

31 deaths - Shooting in Texas and Ohio

• Two shootings: At least 31 people were killed over the weekend in mass shootings in Texas and Ohio.
• El Paso: 22 people were killed in El Paso after a mass shooting on Saturday. Police said they found an anti-immigrant document espousing white nationalist and racist views, which they believe was written by the suspect. He may face hate crime charges in addition to capital murder charges.
• Dayton: Another nine people were killed in a shooting in the Oregon District of Dayton, Ohio. The suspect in that shooting is dead.

During the late hours last night, Major Deanna S. and Debi L’s mother slipped from her earthly body to eternity. We pray that God in His graciousness met Leta Gail Wiggins as she slipped away.
