"This will be my last status on Facebook for some time. It has been decided by leadership that my tone does not properly reflect the character of The Salvation Army. I am accused of being too harsh, condescending, quick tempered, and unbecoming of an officer. And while they do see value in my role as an officer, my leaders are concerned the continued use of social media is a destructive path for me; one that very well may cost me my Officership if I am unwilling to cooperate with their directive.

Effective today, I am to remove myself from all forms of social media which include the use of Facebook, Twitter and my WordPress blog. Perhaps I have been too bold in my dealings - that is something I will make a matter of sincere prayer. I want nothing more than to bring honor and glory to my Lord and Savior and to do the will of my Heavenly Father. If this is His will for me, then I must humbly accept this discipline as put forward by the authority He has placed over me. Please keep me in your prayers as I seek God's will for new ways to share the message of the Gospel and help the lost find their way to our Savior. God bless you all."
