Spike W. Family

Please pray for Spike (one of our Advisory Board members). His wife, Carol, passed away while hospitalized in Oahu. Pray that the Lord will strengthen and comfort him during this difficult time! May God's peace be upon him!

Praise the Lord that our trip to Oahu and back went really well. The kids (10) and Dalton (singing leader) had a blast enjoying each other's fellowship and playtime at the Kroc center. They were great during their singing company competition and timbrels! May they continue to draw near to God as they reflect on this experience and grow in Him!

Michael Evan Family

Please pray for the Evan Family. Michael Evan is the father of Angie and Micole (church family), and the grandfather of 11. Pray for continued peace and comfort for the family! Tonight was their funeral. It was a beautiful service. To God be the Glory!

Women's Rally

Praise the Lord the women's rally went well tonight. Our church did a great job hosting this event where women from Kona and Honokaa came to Hilo for a time of spiritual nourishment and fellowship. Thanks to my wife who orchestrated the decor and food prep. Special thanks to Major Harryiet R. and Major Merry S. for leading this event! What a blessing! May God continue to speak to each woman and draw each of them unto Himself! To God be the Glory!

Hawaii Islands Ministries (HIM)

The HIM conference started on Thursday and finished today. Wow! What a conference! Praise God for allowing the body of Christ in Hawaii to meet together at the Convention Center! Speakers includes Francis Chan, Victor Marx, Tony Compolo, and many More! To God be the Glory for guiding Pastor Dan Chu and his wife to spearhead this event! Pray that the people will go out and continue to proclaim the Gospel with renewed hearts and perspective!

Hawaii Business Conference

Please pray for our HBC tomorrow at Camp Homelani. Pray for safe travels for everyone and all the people who will be teaching.

New Carpet New Floor

Praise the Lord that our carpet and floor have finally been completed! Majors Chamness visited us yesterday for church and fellowship. We dedicated our building to the Lord during Sunday service! Praise God for providing us the resources (money and people). To God be the Glory!
