Re: Prayer For Children Sunday August 1, 2010.
We are pleased to share with you the special observance installment for The Salvation Army's World Prayer Initiative - 'Prayer for Children' which is scheduled for August 1, 2010.
The special observance program day - 'Prayer for Children day', as decided by the International Conference of Leaders and the General, is to take place on the closest Sunday to July 30 each year - this being the date , in 1880, on which the evangelical work among children began in response to the passionate representations made to the Founder by Captain John Roberts.
The theme for this years, 'Prayer for Children' Sunday is ‘Children, Come!’ based on Matthew 19:13-16.
Use the link below to download the Program for the 'Prayer For Children' Special Observance. When prompted, click SAVE. The file will be titled 'PFC'. Once the file has saved, locate and open the file and use as usual.
