It has been such a HUGE blessing getting to do ministry alongside the Lutchers during our time here in Guam! We have learned so much thanks to their awesome leadership, kindness and encouragement. They are amazing and wonderful people and we will miss them a whole lot :) for real though, where did the time go? I still find it hard to believe we'll be heading back to the mainland tomorrow. Please keep us in your prayers as we will be doing a LOT of traveling tomorrow. Thank you!

Mervyn M. - healing and recovery
We received the following update regarding Lt. Colonel Mervyn M.:
We want to say how much we have appreciated all the get well cards, notes, calls, and prayers. We have been comforted and strengthened by the power of your prayers, and the love expressed to us. Merv will be released from the Rehab Hospital Thursday, and will then start the process of physical therapy on the arm that was shattered in the fall. We have been warned that the process of healing will be slow, but we are most grateful to God for excellent doctors and physical therapists, and for His healing touch.
Continued prayers would be greatly appreciated!

Aneudy A.- mom promoted to Glory.
I want to scream at the world. I want my pain to be no more, I know it's just the beginning my heart just aches cause you are gone . How am I able to bare this true ? I wish I can hear you voice and feel the warmth of your hand where ever I am sad or feeling pain. You are the greatest gift I had and I thank you for being the best mother. America Ramirez
Jason K.- finance
Some days you just have to laugh so you don't get too mad or cry. We spent the past year and a half with our bank card being blocked in Mexico because the bank thought our card was stolen and being used for fraud. It was often very embarrassing. I'm in the US for less than a week and my bank card info has been stolen and used for purchases in Tokyo. Hmmm.... Laugh, cry, get mad? I'm choosing to laugh right now at the irony. :-). Hoping all gets fixed.

Jrnnifer S- praise report
I have shared the pain and now I want to share the praise! This past week was another rough week for me. On Thursday I said a simple prayer of "God I really need something good in my life right now! Please show me something good." God just simply cannot be out done! My husband, who lost his job this week, had a great second interview with a company that is first shift work (M-F) only five minutes away from home! I had an interview for a job and was hired almost on the spot. Due to the fact that it would be a department head position she needed to clear it through the Regional Director first! If that wasn't great enough...while I was driving home from that interview I got a phone call from a person that wanted to hire me for another job! Thank you God for showing me that I DO have a purpose and your really DO have a plan!

Mass Shooting - TSA response
Hello, all.
I'm passing along details from an update received from our Sierra del Mar EDS team earlier today, for your information and internal communication purposes if needed.
<<<>>>
In response to the mass shooting that occurred on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, The Salvation Army Disaster Team deployed to The Rudy Hernandez Community Center, where families were being reunited.Over 300 people were served by The Salvation Army yesterday, and with centers in San Bernardino and Redlands, as well as throughout the Inland Empire, The Salvation Army is prepared whatever support as needed.
- The Disaster Team deployed at 3pm on Dec. 2, and remained on site until the center closed at 8:30pm.
- The team was prepared with water, Gatorade and snacks for families who waited long hours to be reunited with loved ones.
- The Salvation Army also provided comfort and prayer to grieving families.
“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy,” says Major Daniel Henderson of the San Bernardino Salvation Army Corps Community Center. “Our community and the world is devastated by what happened, and we’ll have to move forward together, hand in hand.”
Salvation Army locations in San Bernardino went on lock-down and all Bell Ringers were picked up from local stores.
Chuck F. - daughter eye
My daughter is going under the knife today. The surgeon is removing a macular pucker. What is that, you ask? According to the source of all accurate information...the Internet...A macular pucker (also called an epiretinal membrane) is a layer of scar tissue that grows on the surface of the retina, particularly the macula, which is the part of your eye responsible for detailed, central vision.
