As we being this Lenten season, may we be reminded each day of the message of the cross of Christ. May the following be a help to you today as you pray for your family, friends and those on our prayer lists.

God always comes first... we must set aside all we are, all we have,
and all we expect to be... this begins in prayer.
PRAYER
Dear God, I devote my life and all that I am to You today...
please help me focus my eyes on You at all times.

The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for February 23, 2012


We are God’s Army of Salvation; and our weapons are God’s Word, prayer and love.”
(2 Corinthians 10:3-4)

This week’s Oscar Event, on February 26, is Hollywood’s biggest day of the year. We need to pray for media leaders, cultural influencers and believers that on February 26, those movie and media promoting spiritual and moral values will featured and honored. The whole world will be watching…and believers need to be praying that of honor and family values will be featured and honored.

URGENT REQUEST: (2/17/12) Please pray that the Hungarian Parliament will, as part of it’s new Church Law, approve the re-application of The Salvation Army to continue to be registered as a Church before 29 February when the current approval expires!

May God give them vision, grace and joy!

2.Pray for those planning the National Social Service Conference in March and for the Congress, “The Gathering” in June.. May these events help stir our commitment to win the world for Jesus! Plan to attend the Prayer rooms being planned!

Alexander Williams, admitted to hospital.
