As we begin the month of February may you be reminded of God's love for you. 1 John 4:19 - "We love because God first loved us."
God loves what He see's in you. He is flooded by emotions and overcomes with pride for who he has created. God say's to himself - "You are my child. I love you dearly. Dear friends, Attached is the Call to Prayer list for February 2, 2012
Notice that we are being invited to pray for the Academy Awards and The Media on February 26, 2012. The Media and the Motion Picture Industry take a lot of criticism for their work and for their contribution to the moral decay of our nation. But have you ever thought of praying for them? Both groups of professionals are family men and women, just like we are, but there seems to be little guidance given to them for their coverage of the news, broadcasting, and film. How about our praying for them to reverse the decline of morality and goodness in the world? Payer is Powerful and you will be receiving information on how you can become part of the solution to bring America back to God.
Pray for all those on the attached list. Many testimonies relate the power of your prayers!

The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for February 2, 2012
A SPECIAL OSCAR EVENT…AND YOU ARE INVITED!

“What if Hollywood’s biggest day of the year was also your church’s biggest day of prayer…for media and entertainment? “What if the millions of dollars promoting and covering the Academy Awards events and telecast reminded churches and their congregations to pray for media?
What if prayer groups, prayer chains, Bibles studies, Sunday school classes, and believers across the country and around the world prayed for media in one mighty unified chorus on Oscar Sunday, February 26, 2012? What world will be watching…and believers can be praying.
It could happen and you and your Corps are invited to join this world wide day of prayer for media on Academy Awards Sunday, February 26, 2012.

1.Pray for the leaders of our nation; and the candidates seeking nomination for President, may civility and cooperation replace rancor and ill will. May we continue to be One Nation Under God.
2.Pray for our military men and women who continue to serve in harm’s way. Pray for their families.
3.Pray for our International Salvation Army: General Linda Bond, International and National Leaders, for our Western Territorial Leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels David and Sharron Hudson, Lt. Colonels Douglas and Diane O’Brien, Lt. Colonel Judy Smith, Lt. Colonels Vic and Joan Doughty, the THQ Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC officers and your Corps Officers! May God give them vision, grace and joy!
4.Pray those planning the National Social Service Conference in March and for the Congress, “The Gathering” in June.. May these events help stir our commitment to win the world for Jesus!
