CALL TO PRAYER!
The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for February 4, 2010 (2 Ch 7:14)
Following is the list of this week’s list of urgent prayer requests:
1.Pray for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti and for the Salvation Army Officers and soldiers of Haiti who are also living in tents and temporary facilities as they provide help to the other victims of the disaster. Help and protect the Aid teams from the Western Territory, and others, as they help the relieve the suffering.
2.Pray for the Community Relations Department, as they share the Salvation Army message with the media and others. Major Bob Rudd and Kathy Lovin, request prayer as they share what the Salvation Army is and what we are doing to help others with compassion and integrity.
3.Pray for President Obama and his Administration, Congressional leaders, and the leaders of our country who need minds and hearts, divinely inspired, and open to the leading of God to deal with the monumental challenges of international issues and the problems at home. There are no easy solutions. Pray that they will be given divine guidance!
4.Pray for our Military serving in all parts of the world and for their families. Protect them and encourage their families, who also give great personal sacrifices for our Country and way of life.
5.Pray for the Salvation Army leadership around the world: The General and Commissioner Clifton, Commissioners Gaither; International Leaders, and for our Western Territorial leaders; Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, THQ Cabinet and staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, Corps Officers, Cadets and employees.. God Bless The Salvation Army!
6.Pray for: Majors John & Patricia Rhemick’s daughter, Kathleen Wreath, colon surgery; Major Ron Toy, health issue; Major Ed Covert, bad fall; Major Robert Smith, recovering from surgery, Brett Strickland & wife Lorena; Major Sheila Bradley, medical tests; Captain Jack Smith, caring for his mother and father; Captain Jennifer Schapals, surgery; Captain Tom Fenton; Capt Ron McKinney; for Jane Brown; Jennifer R and her husband, a blessing on their marriage; for Major Dennis and Diana Trimmer, medical issues;for Major Jerry Ames, shoulder surgery; for Devon “Kaipo” Yamada in hospital; Kwai Gasper, in ICU; for Tylene Paia Mala; for Officers whose hearts are heavy regarding their children’s marital discord.
7.Pray for: Corps Officers, caring for bereaved members of their Corps; for Jackie B.’s daughter-in-law’s mother in hospital; Major Antonio Horta, in hospital; Marie Henderson, in hospital: Captain Gina Halverson; Major Jennifer Bates; Aubree, brain lesions; April, an unknown virus; for James Shull; for Kendra Holly’s father; for Sheryl Callahan’s mother, Malva Farrell; Major Joe Thompson; Bill and Carol; for the ARC program, staff, employees, beneficiaries, adherents, volunteers, donors and shoppers, may God bless this program to His Glory!
8.Pray for: Harry Sparks, bad fall; for Kelly; for Maritza D. and her son; for one year old Max, facing lung surgery. He is the grandson of Rosemarie and Brian Abernethy; Captain Vera Villanea health issues; for Alicia; Burt Stack ; Mike and Lisa Schneider; Dick Wiseman, Lorin & Millie Corlis; for Easter Soli; for Ann; John Boner; Chaplain Michael Lopez.
9.For Retired officers: Major Mick Souders, diverticulitis; Majors Lloyd and Kay Stoops, continuing health issues: Major Les Brooks, in poor health and in hospital; Majors Bob and Jean Anderson, health issues; for Majors Don and Rachel Bowman’s daughter, DeDe; Major Maddie Rizzi, hearing; for Major Ben Meyer; Major Harold Stromberg; Mrs. Lt. Colonel Luetta Pederson; for former officer Brett Strickland; Envoy Guy Moore; and the family of Jack Holland, former officer of the Central Territory and former employee of the Phoenix ARC. May God give each family and friend a double portion of His love and comfort.
