TSA Western Territory Prayer Requests

CALL TO PRAYER!

The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for January 28, 2010 (2 Ch 7:14)

Following is the list of this week’s list of urgent prayer requests:

1.Pray for the Kinshasa, Binza Corps who have lost their two year old officers quarters to a landslide. The adjacent Corps Building is also in imminent danger. The Southwest Division provided funds and work on this quarters.

2.Continue to pray for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Pray for the survivors who have lost loved ones and suffered injuries, for the rescue workers and for Salvation Army Officers and soldiers in the corps, schools and clinics of the country. Pray that the aid teams will be able to bring resources to help alleviate the tragedy in this very poor.

3.Pray for President Obama and his Administration, Congressional leaders, and the leaders of our country. Our country’s leaders need minds and hearts, divinely inspired, and open to the leading of God.

4.Pray for our Military in all parts of the world and for their families. Protect them and encourage their families, who also give sacrifices for our Country and way of life.

5.Pray for our Salvation Army leaders around the world: The General and Commissioner Clifton, Commissioners Gaither; International Leaders, and for our Western Territorial leaders; Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, THQ Cabinet and staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, Corps Officers, Cadets and employees.. God Bless The Salvation Army!

6.Pray for: Captain Jennifer Schapals, (Seattle White Center) who will have foot surgery. Pray for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery; Captain Tom Fenton, (Broomfield Corps), recovering from pneumonia; Capt Ron McKinney (Metro Denver City) healing from knee replacement surgery; Major David Scott, recovering from surgery; for Jane Brown ( Kansas City), knee surgery; Jennifer R and her husband, (Pasadena ARC) a blessing on their marriage; Pastor James Roberts, and family (Fresno) flu; for Major Dennis and Diana Trimmer, medical issues;for Major Jerry Ames, shoulder surgery; for Devon “Kaipo” Yamada in hospital; Kwai Gasper, in ICU; for Tylene Paia Mala; for Officer Leaders whose hearts are heavy regarding their children’s marital discord.

7.Pray for: Captains John & Candy Stennett, (Boise) dealing with bereaved members of their Corps; for Jackie B.’s daughter-in-law’s mother in hospital; Major Antonio Horta, in hospital; Wayne, an inoperable tumor; Marie Henderson, in hospital: Captain Gina Halverson; Major Jennifer Bates; Aubree, brain lesions; April, an unknown virus; for James Shull; for Kendra Holly’s father; for Sheryl Callahan’s mother, Malva Farrell; Major Joe Thompson; Bill and Carol; for the ARC program, staff, employees, beneficiaries, adherents, volunteers, donors and shoppers, may God bless this program to His Glory!

8.Pray for: Jerry Parker after surgery ; for Kelly; for Maritza D. and her son; for one year old Max, facing lung surgery. He is the grandson of Rosemarie and Brian Abernethy; Captain Vera Villanea health issues; for Alicia; Burt Stack ; Mike and Lisa Schneider; Dick Wiseman, Lorin & Millie Corlis; for Easter Soli; for Ann; John Boner; Chaplain Michael Lopez.

9.For Retired officers: Major Mick Souders, diverticulitis; Majors Lloyd and Kay Stoops, continuing health issues: Major Les Brooks, in poor health and in hospital; Majors Bob and Jean Anderson, health issues; for Majors Don and Rachel Bowman’s daughter, DeDe; Major Maddie Rizzi, hearing; for Major Ben Meyer; Major Harold Stromberg; Major Robert Smith; Lt Colonels Lou and Le Roy Pedersen; Mrs. Lt. Colonel Alice Smith; A/Capt Evelyn Smith; Major Hazel Irby, pneumonia; Majors Jane and John Horgan; Brigadier Izzy Boyington; Brigadier Martha Hansen; Major Rusty Tomlinson; and others who have not been well.

10.For those being treated for cancer: Paul Wolkersdorfor, stage 3 bone cancer; Robert Lewis, Pancreatic cancer; A/Captain Nelson Mayol, of Las Vegas, Robert Murayama, symptoms of colon cancer; Peter Daab’s daughter, Una-Lee of Ocala, Florida; Diane’s friend, Heidi E., a single mother of 3 boys, stage 4 cancer; Loraine Hoonout liver cancer; Barbara Taft ; Barbara of Tab Corps;for Rich Moore’s son-in-law ; for Peggy Simmons: Monica Dove; Capt Vickie Jackson; Cindy Hogman; Dean Steriotis, Colonel Dianne Hogan; Wayne Shaw; Brandon Apuan; Joyce (Lobben) Miller; Helga Kenyon; Clarine Reynolds; Sally Schueuer; Lisa Schneider; Edith Mike, Jodie; Tiffany Madsen; Sherry; Vince DiGregorio; Ken Bond; Sam and Mary Sims; Major Dallas Pedersen; Eileen O'Brien; Jacob Galland; Mrs. Captain Sylvia Waldron; Adam Van Cleef.
