TSA Western Territorial Prayers

CALL TO PRAYER!
The Salvation Army Call to Prayer line for June 4, 2009: Please pray for the following:

1.Pray for families of the passengers and crew of Air France Flight 447. This terrible tragedy with the loss of 228 people, including two Americans, disappeared on a flight from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Paris, France. Pray for those having to cope with the loss of families, relatives and friends, that God will give His comfort.

2.Pray for General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton who have had to cancel their long awaited visit to the Western Territory due to Doctors advice. Their absence will be felt by all Salvationists in the Western Territory who were so looking forward to their visit to the Territory. Pray for Commissioners Israel and Eva Gaither, our National Commander, and Commissioners Philip and Pat Swyers, our Territorial leaders, who will assume the leadership of the Commissioning gatherings in San Francisco and Seattle. May Jesus Christ be Glorified and Praised!

3.Pray for President Obama and his team as they travel to Saudi Arabia and Egypt as they seek to bring peace and understanding to the Middle East and Moslem world. Pray that they will be given Divine wisdom and sensitivity in these and other needs facing his administration.

4.Pray for the victims of human trafficking and the sex trade. These evil practices are not confined to countries beyond our shores, but there are victims in our own country as well. Pray that they will have the protection of God.

5.Pray for our Salvation Army leaders: Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, the THQ Cabinet, staff, and every Divisional Leader, ARC and Corps Officer.

6.Pray for Colonel Don Sather who was in a very serious vehicle accident in Sun City, AZ. Pray for the father of Accepted Candidate Carlos Armendariz of Phoenix Citadel, who is very ill and in the last stages of his life . Pray that he will find comfort in Jesus Christ and that his family will be strong for him. Pray for a successful knee replacement surgery for Edith Jenkins. Pray for Juanita, daughter of Captain Stephanie Dennis, having personal family problems. Pray for God’s guidance for her and her family: Pray for Kathy Crusberg, surgery, Emmanuel Henry-John; for Desiree, who doctors suspect may have cancer. .

7.Pray for Kevin Hylen, son-in-law of Major & Mrs. Sundin, facing potential life-threatening surgery. Kevin is the camp caretaker for Camp Wonderland in Massachusetts; for Ramon Ocano who faces a second open heart surgery; and for Ramona Corrales open heart surgery, for Captain Michael Johnson; staph infection; Laura, healing from depression, anxiety and low self- worth; Major Joe Thompson; Bill and Carol, grieving over loss of son, health and financial needs; for Walter’s Barado’s brother, Winston, fighting the disease of alchoholism

8.Pray for: for Major Lois Brooks complication from foot surgery; for Becky Weiss of the Cascade Division and for the healing of her daughter, Rochelle, battling Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome. Pray for Christina Palmer, recovering from reconstructive surgery, for Xandra Schmig, 8 year old daughter of Captains Schmig in Sierra Vista; healing for Beka Arnardi, a new mom, who has paralysis after removal of a spinal tumor; John Larson, TAB Advisory Board member, Diane Docter, Jeanie Lucas, Dick Wiseman, for Lorin & Millie Corlis; for Easter Soli, in hospital due to a stroke; for Ann, healing of a bone infection; Major June Nicloy; for Aux Capt Ligia Ambriz, her daughter and newborn grandson; Daniel Lloyd, Cascade, recovering from surgery; Sandy Emmons, Cascade DHQ, recovering from a stroke.

9.Pray for Retired officers: Major Shirley Goode recovering from shoulder surgery; for Major Kay Stoops; Major Robert Smith; Major Marian Hanson; Lt Colonels Lou and Le Roy Pedersen, Mrs. Lt. Colonel Alice Smith; A/Capt Evelyn Smith; Majors Jane and John Horgan; Major Hazel Irby; Brigadier Izzy Boyington; Brigadier Margaret Laverty; Brigadier Martha Hansen; Major Rusty Tomlinson, and others who have not been well.

10.Pray for those being treated for cancer: Jodie, from Mesa, with stage 4 cancer, that she be given courage, comfort and healing; for Tiffany Madsen, daughter of Majors Glen and Linda Madsen and sister to Captain Matt Madsen, stage 2 and 3 cancer; Vicky’s brother, Richard, of Belgium, radiation for a brain tumor and that he will find Christ; Robin asks for prayer for her sister-in-law, Sherry; Pray for Vince DiGregorio; Dave West, of Salem; Major Henry Graciani, being treated for Lymphoma cancer; Dom asks for prayer for his boss, Richard Ross, Ken Bond of Phoenix, cancer reoccurrence; Major Ed Ringle chemotherapy; Karen, colon cancer; Michelle Solts; C.P. Yang-Looker; Sam and Mary Sims; Jewel Menard of San Luis Obispo, Lymphoma; Captain Stephen Sutter, chemo treatments; Dale Hill Jr.; Major Dallas Pedersen; Eileen O'Brien; Jacob Galland; Mrs. Captain Sylvia Waldron; Dick Youngworth; Sue Ellen's Mom; Harley Plumlee of Arkansas, and others. Pray for great faith and great healing miracles!

11.Pray for the family and friends of those recently Promoted to Glory: Major Lawrence Holmes May God cover each one with His love and comfort.
