Prayer Points
Japan Territory
§ The territorial theme for 2025 is ‘Building on the Legacy of Faith’ based on 2 Timothy 1:14 (NIV). Please pray that we will be able to build upon the spiritual legacy that has been left for us, that we might strengthen it for future generations.
§ Please pray for the Territory as it navigates a necessary season of corps restructuring in the days ahead; pray for the corps-folk and the communities where the Army currently operates and how we might continue to support those communities in new and creative ways.
§ Please pray for all corps and social centres located throughout the territory; pray for all Mission Expression leaders and their teams; pray also for those who are recipients of their ministry.
§ Please pray for the Territorial Congress to be held on 22-23 November this year, led by the General and Commissioner Buckingham; may it be a time of rich blessing and empowerment as we step into the future with renewed vigour and purpose.
Yamamuro Gunpei College (YGC)
§ From 1 April 2025 the Officer Training College has been rebranded as the ‘Yamamuro Gunpei College (YGC)’ and restructured to allow for broader officer training and leader development, along with ongoing spiritual formation and professional development opportunities. Please pray for the staff of YGC and for those cadets and students who would come through the doors in the days ahead: may we be ‘a place of education and spiritual life development for all people’ in the territory.
Thank you for your continued prayers for the Japan Territory!
