CALL TO PRAYER!
The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for January 6, 2011
“..You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-5 NLT
Thank you for your faithful prayers!
1.Pray for President Obama, his Cabinet and each member of Congress that they will be wise and sensitive to the needs of Americans everywhere during this New Year..
2.Pray for our leaders, and for our military. May they be given God’s divine protection and guidance in their personal lives and in their service for America.
3.Pray for every Salvation Army Officer, Cadet, Soldier, Employee and Volunteer serving in 122 countries of the World. May we Serve to Save the lost and those who despair!
4.Pray for every Salvation Army Leader: Give Wisdom and Grace to General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton, International and National Leaders, our Western Territorial leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, the THQ Cabinet and Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, your Corps Officers, the Cadets and our Employees.
5.Pray for the High Council delegates that they will be given a Divine Anointing and Wisdom as they meet to elect the Eighteenth General of The Salvation Army.
6.Pray for Major Pat Wetter, admitted to the hospital with serious internal bleeding; for Major Michael Dossey’s step-dad, who has been taken off life support, and pray for his niece, whose husband, Jeff, was killed in an car accident; for Kilarta Sop, long time soldier of Guam Corps; for Commissioner Pat Swyer’s sister, Claudette, who has suffered a stroke; for Commissioner Grace Chang’s healing; pray for Phoenix Board member Tom Fannin’s wife, Marianne, undergoing biopsies. Pray for Marlene’s nephew, in need of substance abuse treatment; for Lt. Colonel Eda Hokom, for Peggy; for Marie Hendersen, bad fall and spinal infection; for the Meadows family; for the Digregorio family; Sandra’s father, colon cancer; Susan Spencer recovering from surgery; Gigi’s mother, Alzheimer’s; Loren Corliss; for Claire Woods, Hawaii Advisory Board in need of a Kidney Transplant; for Chris’s grandmother; for Linda, tumor surgery; for Judy, radiation treatment; for Katrina and DeJan. Pray for Mamma Rose, healing of her intestinal problems ; and for Katherine that she will be given strength and blessing.
7.Pray for the ARC Programs; for Anaheim this week, Including Administrative staff, employees, beneficiaries, volunteers, donors and shoppers, that God will bless this ministry!
8.Pray for Major Laura Sullivan, healing from shoulder surgery and pneumonia; Pray for Jody Wildeboer’s uncle Ron’s surgery; Captain Ronnie Davis’s brother and his nephew’s little girl, Olive, healing after heart surgery; Pray for Major Michael Nute, recovering from surgery; Pray for Rosemarie Abernethy, DRO of Phoenix, healing after back surgery, and for her grandson, Max, 24 months old, scheduled for lung surgery; for Jessica, age 16, recovering from a rare blood disease; Austin Sullivan; Major Deanna Sholin’s mother, Mrs. Gail Wiggins who suffered a fall and broke her hip; for Paul with heart and breathing problems; Colleen, breathing problems; Priscilla’s mother; Jane Brown; Mary Kyle; for Dave Marquez; for Sarah; Gail Stewart; Majors John & Patricia Rhemick’s daughter, Kathleen Wreath; Yvonne and Paul Meadows; wisdom and peace. Pray for Sean C. for his family and for deliverance from financial, health, career and domestic difficulties.
