CALL TO PRAYER!
The Salvation Army Call to Prayer for August 27, 2010
“Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
1.Pray for the delegates of the Western Bible Conference at Mount Hermon as they return home after inspiring “Mountain Top” spiritual experiences, great Bible teaching, good fellowship, and many spiritual renewal experiences! May this be the spark that ignites a Spiritual Revival in the Western Territory!
2.Pray for the eight million flood victims in Pakistan suffering an Incredible loss of lives and property. And the flooding continues.
3.Pray for the 33 Chilean Miners who may be trapped in the mine for several months.
4.Pray for General Shaw Clifton and for a complete healing after his recent heart by-pass surgery.
5.Pray for those being affected by the economy, loss of jobs and homes. Pray for our President, and our country’s leaders. And pray for the protection of our military men and women and their families as they serve the cause of freedom. Keep them safe and bring them home.
6.Pray for The Salvation Army and our Leaders: General Shaw and Commissioner Helen Clifton, International and National Leaders, our Western Territorial leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, the THQ Cabinet and Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, your Corps Officers, the Cadets and our Employees.
7.Pray for complete healing for Kimberly, daughter of Lt. Colonels Pam and Ron Strickland, receiving chemo treatment in Australia; Pray for healing ofr Major Frank Severs of Red Bluff; Pray for 12 year old Anthony Ray Covarrubias Noriega, being treated for seizures; Pray for a kidney donor for Claire Woods, Hawaii Advisory Board member, and leader;. Continue to pray for Captain Les Spousta’s family, several medical concerns; Pray for Major Ruth Scott’s father; Captain Hector & Emma Orellana’s 5 year old grandson, Luis Deigo Orellana, for Don B. tumor surgery; for Sherry; for Chris’s grandmother; for Linda, tumor surgery; for Judy, radiation treatment; for Joshua’s healing; Jill’s surgery.
