North Korea - Christianity
GODTV.com recently published a post about our hopes for a new day for the proclamation of the Gospel in North Korea. This followed the historic meeting between Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae-in, the leaders of North and South Korea. Now it seems North Korea is prepared to release three Christian leaders, which is unprecedented. Furthermore, a prominent prophetic preacher is saying “North Korea will open its doors to Christianity”.
For this to happen, it would be a complete turnaround, but we know that our God is able to do this. As Proverbs 21.1 says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord… He turns it wherever He wishes.” It’s so important therefore, that the Body of Christ throughout the world continues to trust God for His intervention in North Korea. We must keep praying.

High Council - S.A. world
CALL TO PRAYER FOR THE HIGH COUNCIL 2018
General André Cox has asked us to stand together in prayer as we anticipate the start of the High Council:
‘As the High Council convenes in May, The Salvation Army’s leaders from around the world will be tasked with electing the next General, the 21st leader of our global Army. Friends, would you join me in praying – very simply – that God’s will be done? Many column inches, tweets, Facebook posts and blogs will be written – of that I have no doubt – but it boils down to this: Listening to God’s still, small voice. And then acting decisively on it.
‘So pray for the members of the High Council. Pray, too, for the man or woman who will take on the leadership of The Salvation Army as General in August. But as you pray, ensure that – as you pause today – you also listen for God’s still, small voice. Is the Holy Spirit gently nudging you to do something? Perhaps to speak to or offer a helping hand to a friend, colleague or neighbour? Is God calling you to take a more radical step in your discipleship journey?’
The High Council members are pictured here by region: Africa, Americas & Caribbean, Europe, IHQ, South Asia and South Pacific & East Asia.
A High Council comprises all active Salvation Army commissioners, territorial commanders and territorial presidents of women’s ministries."

Sid S. - Mission
"Well, most of you all know that we have been called to serve in the beautiful city of Vilnius, Lithuania, to start a brand new Salvation Army work and ministry there. As you see in the pictures, it is a beautiful place. But there are a lot of broken people there, a lot of depression, a lot of suicide. They need the comforting arms of a great Savior, and so we go to bring that love through the Salvation Army. Please keep us in prayer as we will be attempting a very difficult task there. We will be leaving the states on May 27th, and will be there for at least three years. If you'd like to support us there, please contact me by messenger. Thank you for your prayers!"

Thandiwe's Mom
"There comes a time in life when God calls us home when our journey is done. Heaven gained an angel on May 1, 2018. Our mother,Ora Ferguson is now dancing and walking down streets of gold in a body that has been 100% healed wearing a marshmellow marmalade smile! Momma is gone but never forgotten and her legacy lives on through every life she touched. I salute you momma and will end with the words you used as your signature, "love you"!"

"Friends, please pray for us, I am convinced it is spiritual warfare. In Sacramento our house and cars were broken into, now here in peaceful Colorado Springs- my car was broken into a month ago, and last night people got into the car, opened the garage door, and were in our house at 2:30 am- Amber my 18 year old heard them downstairs, and had David call 911. So discouraging. Back to locking every window, door, getting an alarm system and cameras."
